About Our Client

Our client is a leader in the FMCG industry with a portfolio of products. As a result of their rapid growth, they are seeking an Assistant Logistic Manager to join the team.

Job Description

  • Liaise with various stakeholders to maintain a smooth running and operation of supply chain system
  • Manage and Supervise day to day operation activities with our external third party including inbound, outbound, sorting, distribution and inventory control
  • Maintain accurate and up to date stock and inventory record
  • Ensure the efficient operation with compliance, work safety, food safety, storage location and utilization
  • Maintain and enhance the Process and SOP for warehouse operations
  • Review logistic cost and cost to serve and explore optimization plan. Negotiate with external third party to improve the cost structure
  • Analyze the 3PL billing in monthly basis with Finance
  • Lead the inventory analysis and work with key stakeholders (both external and internal) for improvement
  • Handle customer inquiry on delivery issue and ad-hoc projects when necessary

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree holder with a major in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management or related disciplines
  • At least 6 years' experience in warehouse and logistics management with 3 years of experience at supervisory level and preferably in FMCG industry
  • Hardworking, detail-minded, organized and with a strong sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure and meet deadline with high accuracy.
  • Familiar with SAP is highly preferred
  • Good analytical and presentation skills
  • Excellence in time management
