Responsibilities:

  • Perform data analysis with query tools/BI tools on database repositories
  • Perform development work on database, reporting and ETL tasks
  • Coordinate with users or different teams to conduct data analysis and data cleansing exercise
  • Work with IT project teams and/or solution providers to implement data governance and quality rules
  • Provide production support and troubleshooting on business datamarts
  • Work on ad hoc requests for deliverables like MI reporting , data extracts, etc.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Computer Science/Statistics or related disciplines
  • 4 years of experience in IT industry in data related analysis and design, data cleansing and data modelling and/or related application development projects
  • Experience in the banking sector with good understanding in related business applications, data management and related technologies
  • Hands-on experience in SQL and data query tools
  • Hands-on experience in Python, R and machine learning technique
  • Hands-on experience in QlikView
  • Working experience in data query and integration tools (Base SAS, SAS EG, QlikView/Qlik Sense, Tableau) and ETL programming is desired
  • General understanding in data quality improvement and data management processes
  • Good communication skills in Cantonese and English
