Due to the business continued expansion, the world-leading of the major producer in Precision Engineering & Designing of the world has an opening for Operation Director, they are specialist in provide precision metal components for famous brands (Watch Industry) with production services. Recently they are active seeking a potential talent for support the overall growth, operation, and maintenance of the company's manufacturing operations to achieve the highest levels of effectiveness, quality, service, and profitability for the company.

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible to oversee the planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress for the manufacturing operation. You will also be liaising with superior to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.

  • Offers manufacturing performance leadership and guidance for facilities to achieve company objectives; sets roadmap for operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead production, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, and project engineering teams.
  • Monitor project transfer and process development to ensure that the customer's business plan is met.
  • Work with the customer and the corporate team to fix the technical/operational issue.
  • Introduce market best practices for improving production and operational efficiency.
  • Manage daily operations to satisfy client needs and plant objectives (on-time delivery, quality performance, efficiency, service).
  • Supervise the whole production process, including planning, production, process control, and quality assurance.
  • Assist programme management and business development in maintaining customer relationships and developing new business opportunities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the operation through the Lean Six Sigma programme, 5S, and other corporate initiatives.
  • Support to set and monitor KPIs with Factory GMs and Functional General Managers.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree holder of Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing or a related subject is desirable, Master's degree is highly recommended.
  • At least 15 years of Senior-Level manufacturing experience.
  • Extensive experience in the EMS industry, with a focus on the telecommunication, biomedical device, and industrial markets.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading, motivating, and equipping direct & indirect teams to fulfil specified goals, manage changes, and continuously improve processes.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and engineering improvement methods such as ISO9001, TS16949, 6 Sigma, Kaizen, and the 5S concept, among others.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving talents, as well as strong leadership and organizational capabilities, are required.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese, as well as conversational Mandarin.
  • Station in South China Manufacturing Plant is a MUST.
