Job Duties:

Floorplan and Façade Design

  • Provide preliminary layout showing the main zoning directions and the best circulation possibilities
  • Design colored floorplan & façade options, on CAD & Photoshop, in line with store concept
  • Select the materials to be used within the range of availabilities among boutique concept
  • Design or outsource the 3D renderings of the two design options (external and internal views).
  • Provide mood boards or sample boards when required
  • Design new furniture and showcases when required

Call for tenders Management

  • Supervise and check carefully the accuracy of the tender drawings.
  • Provide sketch to draftsman when required (eg: door schedule…) and ensure all the details are technically achievable.
  • Coordinate the tender drawings specifications with lighting design, M&E design, security, IT, and visual merchandising teams
  • Supervise and check carefully the accuracy of the SOR and T&C
  • Lead the call for tenders, answers the RFI's, analyze bid returns and award contractor.

Construction Management

  • Implement an organization chart for each project. Who does what?
  • Be fully involved on every steps of a store construction, from A to Z - Full 360
  • Ensure the design, details and dimensions are respected. Any changes must go through your review and approval.
  • Review rigorously the local contractor's shop drawings, ensure it matches with original design intent
  • Review and comment the local contractor's samples and mock-ups
  • Attend weekly site meetings I zoom calls and ensure the site technical decisions match with company quality requirements
  • Be attentive to the functionality of the store and the quality of the lighting
  • Control the construction schedule and monitor it
  • E-Inspect the façade, furniture and materials production in factory
  • Ensure communication is smooth between all parties at all times: LL, GC, IT, Security, VM…..
  • Be a problem solver and find solution to technical issues or production issues
  • Ensure handover is smooth and that VM, products and flowers are all well in place prior to the opening.


  • Master degree in architecture or interior architecture
  • 8 to 10 years' experience in luxury jewellery retail
  • Sense for perfection
  • Well organized and hands on
  • Good communication skills
  • Good capacity to synthetize
  • Ability to endorse responsibilities
  • Ability to work with different cultures and time difference
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Excellent skills in autocad and photoshop,
  • Perfect English speaking and writing - French, Mandarin, or Japanese is a plus
