Our client is a private conglomerate with decades of history in Hong Kong. They have created this Head of L&D position so as to cope with their talent needs comply with their massive expansion plan in 2023.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with the Head of HR in developing and implementing L&D strategies for the Group
  • Partner with HRBPs and business stakeholders to identify, design, deliver and evaluate learning initiatives that support the L&D Strategy and BU Capability Plans and act as a trusted advisor on contemporary approaches to learning design
  • Develop an ongoing sustainable approach to ensuring capability plans are regularly refreshed to support business requirements
  • Manage the design and delivery of learning initiatives ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and deliver on the agreed business metrics
  • Facilitate training sessions when needed

Job Requirements

  • Degree-educated in HRM or a related discipline, combined with a strong demonstrated understanding of contemporary learning design
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience gained from a sizeable organisation
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across all levels
  • Experience consulting and designing learning initiatives across different levels of leadership and for a range of soft skill subject matter
  • Confident facilitator with a proven ability to consult on capability needs in workshops and ideation sessions with Senior Leaders
  • Strategic stakeholder partnership with demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment
  • Fluency in spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English is essential
