About Client:

Currently, they are active seeking an Inventory Manager to supporting provide all teams a short- and long-term picture of the stock position so they are aware of any overstocked items, at-risk products, stock delivery delays, and the arrival of new products. The optimum availability will be ensured at both cross-border warehouses in China and regional warehouses in Hong Kong, with a flexible stock holding policy based on the most recent market intelligence and demand projections.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

You will be reporting to the Supply Chain director (APAC) and supporting the regional stock SME's role in the APAC commercial function. You will also be own the regional stock availability measure at all APAC warehouses, guaranteeing that products with a limited supply are redistributed throughout the locations for the best availability everywhere.

  • Ensure that you are at the forefront of the newest thinking on short-term demand patterns across all APAC & China Cross Border channels by developing and maintaining strong and effective relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • To identify any urgent stockholding threats to global supply planning as well as significant sales over expected at the SKU and category levels, compare the total regional demand to the sell-in prediction.
  • Be the SME for the regional stock position, including what is available, at risk, at risk of running out, and when more goods will become available.
  • Create monthly stock movement and activity estimates to share with the local DCs so that our 3PLPs can organize their resources and complete our requests on schedule and under budget.
  • With the help of the Global Inventory team, streamline the inventory management process using regional insight and global process guidelines.
  • Worldwide and regional Inventory team best practices.
  • Manage the regional inventory controller, provide direction, and identify creative approaches to guarantee ongoing gains in inventory accuracy.
  • Reduce stock losses by making sure that all modifications are recorded, the main cause is correctly identified, and the tolerances are within acceptable limits.
  • Organize and submit annual inventory reports for each warehouse in the area.

Candidates Profile:

  • Degree holder in supply chain / inventory and warehouse management or a closely related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a comparable multi-site inventory management position Experience collaborating with logistics service providers and being able to offer examples of your work in enhancing operational performance
  • able to give concrete examples of taking ownership of projects or improvements all the way to completion.
  • exhibiting exceptional attention to detail, promptly recognizing, and resolving abnormalities
  • Knowing the entire supply chain, including supply and demand planning, and being commercially aware of it
  • Someone IT knowledgeable with experience using an ERP, WMS, and POS system is required, as is their ability to bring experience with increased information sharing.
  • Strong team player, enterprising spirit, genuine commerciality, and excellent interpersonal relations skills!
