About Client:

Our client is one of the US Fortune 500 company and they are global leader in a wide range of applications for hygienic, cleansing, and purification with their multi-million business and more than 150+ countries business around the world. Currently, they are active seeking a Logistic Supervisor to supporting oversees the shipping and delivery of materials and warehouse personnel.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the logistics team working for the Supply Chain Team in Hong Kong and Macau.
  • Make sure the system and warehouse have proper inventory levels.
  • Follow-up on the procurement process e.g., Cooperate closely with suppliers and the sales team to restock the dish machine, dispensing system, and spare parts to satisfy client needs.
  • Tracking 3PL performance - Work closely with 3PL to keep an eye on storage and delivery activities to ensure high performance (e.g., on time delivery)
  • The team's major player in internal communication, working closely with the customer service team to make daily delivery arrangements
  • Agree on prices and other terms with logistical and service providers for import and export.
  • Inventory control reports and analysis (e.g., near expiry products reports) for management review. Examples of these reports include volume reports, loading reports, shipment analyses, and PO updates.
  • Lead the annual stock take exercise.

Candidates Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree necessary in operations, supply chain management, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of expertise in people management; 4+ years of hands-on experience in managing the overall inbound logistics flow, warehouse operations, and 3PL activities.
  • It helps to have experience managing hazardous materials and chemicals.
  • Attention to detail and sound judgement.
  • Effective interpersonal abilities and aptitude for learning; Strong understanding of manufacturing and business performance financial metrics (budgeting, inventory transactions etc.)
