  • To study and define the product assortment according to the markets
  • To prepare the seasonal OTB
  • To attend the seasonal buying sessions in Paris to ensure the right merchandise is purchased for the market in the right quantity to achieve targeted sales projections and sell-throughs
  • To distribute merchandise information and order details to Regional Business Planning, Regional Merchandise Planning and stores after each buying
  • To prepare sales forecast co-ordinate on re-ordering of merchandise

Merchandising, Product Training & Display

  • To propose remerchandising of store during new seasons products launch and season end sale
  • To analyze sales performance through sell-through analysis & propose action plan
  • To identify training needs and prepare training materials on all products
  • To review and discuss with regional VM on guidelines to visual merchandising and store on display according to HQ guidelines / new merchandise/ launch schedule / advertising & promotion program / image / sales and stock level
  • To arrange retail pricing for all markets. To be in line with pricing policy and global positioning set by HQ
  • To propose season and discount and control discount to be in line with budget

Commercial Follow-up

  • To prepare monthly reports on Merchandises' comments
  • To review sales and sell-thru analyses and propose action plans if necessary
  • To follow up the development of quality and after sales services
  • To conduct market research on customer behavior, market trend, competitors' price and product offer
  • Degree holder in Business, Merchandise or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in merchandising in luxury retail industry
  • Able to work independently but also collaboratively with cross functional teams
  • Attention to details with good analytical skills and is numerically sensitive
  • Excellent fashion and market sense especially in retail industry
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent command in written and spoken English
  • Proficient in Microsoft office including Excel and PowerPoint
