Job Duties:

  • To achieve optimum results in every store by working with store managers to ensure the day to day operations run smoothly and the stores are able to execute outstanding standards, grow the sales, implement company policy and control costs in line with budget. Identify ways to grow and develop the business and improve operational efficiency in line with the company strategic direction.
  • To ensure the entire operations team understands the need to deliver service that consistently surpasses expectations. To monitor and reinforce the service standards at all times and ensure the team has the proper tools and trainings for resolving customer complaints efficiently and courteously
  • To ensure the team is able to solicit feedback from customers and staff and share this feedback
  • To ensure the development of a customer database for new customers and cultivate existing customer relationships

Store Operations

  • To work with the Sales & Operations Manager and Store Managers to identify opportunities to grow sales and build the business
  • To monitor effectiveness of staff incentive/commission scheme and where appropriate, and amend where appropriate in order to drive sales and meet target, assess and implement other sales tools as needed
  • To identify "best practices" within stores and ensure consistent application to sustain customer and company expectations
  • Ensure store performance KPI's are maintained at a high level and do not fall below expectation/targets, coming up with initiatives and coaching team to ensure optimum results
  • To identify ways to consistently grow the customer base year on year
  • To develop, educate and enforce appropriate operations policies throughout the company
  • To build a strong internal network and facilitate an open working relationship amongst all departments to ensure that the stores are fully supported to achieve the sales and profit targets
  • To monitor store rosters to ensure optimum store coverage efficiency

Financial Performance

  • To participate in preparing the annual budgeted store P&L and monitor the performance of each store against the agreed targets
  • To be proactive in identifying cross company sales and cost control opportunities that will help achieve, and exceed, the sales and profit targets
  • To ensure that stock levels are in line with plan and maximize full price sell through in order to drive profitability, and to manage age inventory through staff clearance programs
  • To work with the Merchandising team to establish a balanced range of merchandise suited to the customer profile of each store. Make recommendations for changes and improvements to maximize sales potential and profit within the store
  • To produce reports as required to evaluate store operations performance
  • To regularly provide feedback on market movements and competitive landscape research to ensure brand competitiveness

Team Leadership

  • To develop and coach the Sales & Operations Manager and Store Managers to ensure they are able to meet and exceed the operational standards, financial and people management requirements of their role, and lead by example
  • To give feedback during regular meetings with operations team and solicit their ideas for improvement
  • To identify and facilitate opportunities for additional learning and development requirements, working with the training team to facilitate these
  • To monitor and review performance of operations team with the HR Department and VP, identifying individuals who are ready for promotion or require performance improvement plans

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of sales and operations experience for managing business
  • Exceptional leadership and team building skills required. Must have a strong track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Proven track record in managing luxury brands and responsive to market trend and situation
  • Capable of effectively implement marketing events and maintain a consistency in brand image for all operating stores and regions.
  • Ability to establish networking and partnership in a highly-effective manner across functions, geographies and lines of business and driving change
  • Fluency in English, conversational Cantonese and Putonghua
  • Proficient in the use of excel, words and powerpoint software
