Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and maintain overall sales, expense and profitability strategy including forecasts, budgets, staffing plans and be able to perform in and adapt to shifting of market priorities, economic conditions and the general demands of the business
  • Oversee and ensure effective execution and ongoing management of strategic retail objectives and company wide initiatives
  • Coach and develop a strong sales management team by providing guidance, support and regular performance feedback
  • Develop and oversee Staffing initiatives to include hiring, retaining and promoting the highest performers
  • Build a robust internal and external pipeline by identifying and selecting top talent for every hiring decision
  • Oversee and provide guidance on training initiatives, in conjunction with Education and Development to ensure all staff are appropriately inducted and trained in selling, client development as well as operational, customer services etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through effective and timely communications
  • Develop local market sales initiatives that complement overall Company objectives
  • Create a customer service focused team to uphold the brand's customer service standards
  • Manage and achieve sales growth by reviewing and pursuing additional market opportunities and through ongoing customer development initiatives within the local communities
  • Work closely with store management to further develop and maintain customers and pursuing key prospective clients within the local community
  • Work closely with regional and local Merchandising Management in order to ensure an appropriate product assortment and model stock levels and for any potential merchandising opportunities that will increase sales and the performance of the organization
  • Oversee inventory management including receiving, delivery and transfer of merchandise as well as stock control, cycle count accuracy and inventory shrinkage
  • Support any ad-hoc projects as they arise
  • Monitor, collect information to analyse competitors activity and actions
  • Identify market trends with data support
  • Identify new business opportunities not limited to opening of new stores, but also relocation to achieve business goals
  • Develop strategic relationships with relevant departments within the global, regional and local organizations
  • Maintain clear, open and respectful communications across all departments, stores, divisions and regions across the organization



Requirements:

  • Proven ability to increase sales and profitability
  • Strong clientele background
  • Sound commercial and brand awareness
  • Experience in luxury environment
  • Technical proficiency with SAP, MS applications, Apple products and POS systems
  • Good command of English and Chinese
