Responsibilities

  • Converts financial and non-financial information to business intelligence that guide management decision making and contribute to strategy formulation
  • Contribute to the development of growth and profitability strategies. Lead business case preparation to ensure sound financial analysis and strategic alignment of new business initiatives, ensuring that stakeholders fully understand the inherent risk and rewards, including regulatory and tax implications
  • Participate as an active member of the business leadership team, in the relevant Market Executive committees and supporting committees.
  • Liaise closely with the other Business Finance heads to ensure global alignment.
  • Responsible for being aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and acts in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.
  • Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.
  • Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which one is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, the Group Compliance policy.
  • Maintain internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators


Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree holder from a recognized university
  • Experience in Finance area such as Financial Accounting and Control, Business Information Analysis, Financial Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Capital Management, Taxation, Accounting Policy, Change Management
  • Be proficient in identifying significant internal and external Business Finance trends, issues and findings with significant implications across business performance
  • Strategic thinker and pragmatic implementer able to develop efficient methods of bringing about change.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese
