Job Duties:

  • Support and advice our distributors to achieve their top line sales and bottom-line targets after launch, set site pricing, define assortment, promotions, and penetration/expansion for the new site.
  • Propose and lead the execution of digital advertising and top of funnel online initiatives, including search, SEO efforts, paid social, and digital advertising.
  • Stay up to date on digital trends and technologies and provide the Distributor with insights and fact-driven recommendations to optimize our performance.
  • Advice distributors on the merchandising and marketing around key initiatives and products.
  • Evaluate, engage, and manage internal and outside agencies / consultants as needed to drive best in class digital execution.
  • Overseeing key performance indicators (e.g., traffic, conversion, AOV, CAC, LTV, etc.), interpreting data into trends and strategy to provide insights to the distributors; monitor and provide tracking/reports on a regular basis
  • Drive website architecture and optimization for the ecommerce site, prioritizing sales and conversions but also embracing and reflecting our brand vision.
  • Manage the user experience of the Shopify website including site navigation, site refreshes and development, optimizations, content development, and the checkout funnel.
  • Put a roadmap in place and manage the ongoing optimization of the website.
  • Develop new features/enhancements, promotions tactics, and merchandising recommendations (e.g. A/B testing, personalization) to maximize conversions.
  • Partner with the distributors, and creative teams to develop targeted content and campaigns that influence consumers on their journey.
  • Develop segmentation and personalization strategies that deliver the right product to the right customer at the right time.
  • Create an email calendar, attaching actions, goals and KPIs to all emails. Measure results and propose optimizations.
  • Analyze email performance and utilize list segmentation, personalization, and content optimization to help the distributor to gain new customers and retain current ones.
  • Grow customer database through a variety of on-site, content and partnership opportunities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in ecommerce/digital marketing management and leadership roles within a consumer product driven company.
  • Experience in successfully building a thriving DTC business to $10M+. Shopify platform knowledge is a plus.
  • Ability to think strategically about our customers and our business.
  • Ability to think analytically and own budgets and KPIs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related subject. MBA preferred.
  • Strong experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords
  • Experience with Business intelligence platform such as Tableau
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, cart abandonment management, chat, heat mapping, etc.
  • Experience with mobile first ecommerce web site.
  • Ability to work cross functionally
  • Ability to be hands-on, and work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, last minute requests and quick turnarounds with a positive attitude
  • Experience in working in agile organizations - Hacking Growth is a plus.
