Our client is a well established sportwear brand with a sustainable business growth. To cope with their business expansion, they are looking for a Senior Merchandising & Planning Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities





  • Responsible of all aspects of the product line across all channels- for planning, buying, allocation and replenishment
  • Manage total company inventory and analyze business performance at a store/ item level to determine allocation to store based on capacity and align to assortment plan
  • Manage daily operations and work process of the team to ensure products are running smoothly within schedule
  • Analyze sales performances, stock inventory situation (weekly/ monthly) and provide weekly reports
  • Maximize sales & profit by managing stocks and uphold effective SKUs control, develop a plan for slow moving items
  • Define product lifecycle, review sell-in & sell-through
  • Will be responsible to create and develop OTB buy plan per quarter and oversees total company inventory plan
  • Provide core and seasonal product knowledge support to Retail Operations to drive sales
  • Develop and maintain solid understanding of store profiles in order to intelligently allocate products to maximize sales
  • Work closely with Marketing, Retail Operation Departments to develop efficient marketing strategies to achieve the sales target
  • Communicate closely with Retail, Wholesale, E-commerce to understand buying trends, developments among competitors, consumer insights etc. as well as supporting tradeshow
  • Be the lead to drive business and profitability objectives, monitor progress and define strategies/ solutions to correct problems when arises
  • Build a high performing team to develop talents with the support of HR team to develop talents with the support of HR

Requirements





  • Diploma in Fashion, Clothing & Textile or related discipline
  • 8 years' solid merchandising experience in Retail/ Fashion industry
  • Deep understanding of retail buying and product creation process
  • Sound commercial and knowledge of consumer or fashion trends
  • Strong people management, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office application
  • Willing to travel overseas and PRC when necessary
