About the client:
Our client is one of the world's largest luxury Maison players. They design timeless products - watches - and their business vision is to seek beauty wherever it may be found, to be in tune and engaged with its time, and to continue to push the boundaries of originality and beauty with its savoir-faire. Currently they are active seeking potential candidates for the Supply & Demand Planner position to supporting charge of demand planning and inventory management for his/her product categories in Hong Kong, Macau, and Travel Retail.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Propose and carry out the forecasting process, from proposal to counterpart alignment and system upload.
  • Propose launching quantities for novelties and collection (or MRP) for range products. Confirm the ones that have been agreed upon with all parties concerned and upload them into the system. Ensure that purchase orders (manual or automated) are properly triggered.
  • Evaluate supply requirements on a monthly/quarterly basis in order to meet sales targets and maintain an appropriate stock level. Discuss ad hoc assistance to complement marketing or commercial initiatives and incentives.
  • When necessary, revise assortments and central inventory policy based on feedback from counterparts, performance analysis, and the Central Operations guideline (incl. Carat tool).
  • Conduct the ordering process, including placing manual orders, tracking down delays, and updating or cancelling obsolete orders.
  • Communicate the delivery schedule with Sales Operations and other internal customers.
  • Propose changes to administrative processes to improve supply efficiency and productivity.
  • Allocates stock per network for products supplied in a "distributed" manner (on Non-Precious Watches and POSM).
  • Evaluate inventory management performance, including actual stock vs. target, actual sales vs. forecast, and the return on investment of an extreme supply push. Risks or changes in trend should be reported.
  • Recommend that networks rebalance their stock. carries out rebalancing within warehouse stock (transfer from one location to the other).
  • Begin macro returns and other action plans for sluggish movers in Commercial Operations. Executes returns to Headquarters.
  • Management of obsolete or damaged stock, including repairs and staff sales.
  • Evaluate and assess existing POSM processes. Drive adjustments and improvements in POSM handling with all counterparts and at the conclusion of the life cycle.
  • Improving and enhancing the present ordering and replenishment process with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Constant enhancement of current system flow.

Candidates Profile:

  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, finance, or business management is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience, particularly in the retail and/or watchmaking industries.
  • Excellent planning and analytical abilities.
  • Rapid thinking, foresight, and decision making are all required.
  • Dependable and numbers oriented.
  • Knowledge of sophisticated IT systems is required. SAP knowledge is preferable.
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
  • English fluency is required.
