Job Responsibilities

  • ensuring effective communication channels between programme parties, contractors and all other related parties;
  • assisting with the management of all pre and onsite production;
  • preparing the documentation of suppliers' contacts, quotations and relevant paperwork;
  • preparing and maintaining accurate production schedules, acting appropriately should the activity change;
  • keeping manager, team and producer abreast of project status at all times;
  • conducting general stimulus research in search of inspirational ideas, designs, props, themes, décor and activities;
  • raising purchase orders and supporting manager with updated budget keeping; and being commercially aware at all times;
  • purchasing/renting project deliverables, ensuring timely delivery within project to event;
  • creating and delivering the relevant crew documentation in conjunction with the technical team;
  • assisting in monitoring freelance crews, technicians and interns for the events;
  • assisting in monitoring the progress of setup and dismantling of the events;
  • producing and revising technical drawings by using AutoCAD;
  • arranging meetings, preparing agendas and keeping accurate minutes of meetings as contact reports and circulating appropriately; and
  • taking ownership of areas of projects designed by supervisors, as well as being accountable for delivery and results.

Job Requirements

  • possess a recognised university degree with at least a certificate specific in Theatre and Entertainment Arts, Technical Arts or equivalent;
  • preferably have at least 2 years of relevant experience in performing arts, events and live entertainment;
  • have solid experience in large scale indoor and outdoor productions or events; and experience in working with local and overseas arts groups;
  • have working knowledge of technical and productions for indoor and outdoor events;
  • be open for irregular hours of work involving weekend and evening work when required;
  • have a working knowledge of AutoCAD;
  • be proficient in Microsoft Office; and
  • be proficient in written and spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
