Strategic Financial Leadership and Sustainability
๏ท Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning to ensure
sustainable financial performance
๏ท Provide strategic insights and financial analysis to support organizational goals and
decision-making
๏ท Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions to optimize resources
Business Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement
๏ท Act as a trusted business partner to operational leaders on financial management and
decision-making
๏ท Support fund applications, investment decisions and new initiatives with robust financial
analysis and insights
๏ท Drive financial discipline and accountability across departments
๏ท Engage with senior management, auditors, regulators and external stakeholders
๏ท Communicate financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
Governance, Risk and Compliance
๏ท Establish and maintain appropriate financial policies, ensuring strong internal controls,
regulatory compliance and adherence to organizational requirements.
๏ท Oversee statutory audit and other audits required by funding parties and ensure timely
resolution of audit findings
๏ท Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards and statutory
obligations
๏ท Serve as Secretary to the Finance Committee, ensuring effective governance processes,
high-quality reporting and appropriate follow-up actions
Process Excellence and Operations Transformation
๏ท Drive end-to-end process excellence across finance and administrative functions by
streamlining workflows, reducing cycle times and enhancing accuracy, efficiency and
service quality through standardization, automation and digitalization
๏ท Oversee monthly and year-end finance closing processes to ensure timely, accurate and
high-quality financial reporting and management insights
๏ท Establish and monitor KPIs to strengthen and continuously improve service delivery
Facilities and Administration
๏ท Provide strategic oversight of facilities and administrative functions, ensuring alignment
with organizational priorities and service needs
๏ท Steer asset stewardship to ensure facilities are safe, compliant and fit-for-purpose
๏ท Govern renovation and capital projects, including new facilities, ensuring delivery within
scope, timeline and budget
๏ท Monitor KPIs and provide regular updates to the Building Committee on the status of
heritage buildings and new facilities
People Leadership and Talent Development
๏ท Build and lead teams by providing clear direction, coaching, support and ongoing
development to maximize individual and team potential
๏ท Manage, coach and develop employees to meet current and future organizational needs,
including succession planning and capacity building
Job Requirements
๏ท Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline; a
Master’s degree is an advantage
๏ท Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience in Finance, including leadership role overseeing
financial planning, reporting and control
๏ท Proven experience in driving process improvement and operational transformation
๏ท Demonstrated exposure to workplace operations, facilities management and capital
projects, with the ability to integrate operational and financial considerations
๏ท Hands-on experience in leading change and project management
๏ท Strong track record in business partnering and stakeholder management at senior levels
๏ท Strategic yet hands-on leader with strong financial acumen and the ability to connect
finance with operations and service delivery
๏ท High level of integrity and commitment to governance, compliance, and accountability
๏ท Result-driven, with a focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement & impact
๏ท Agile and adaptable, with a strong learning mindset and openness to new ideas,
