Job Responsibilities
- Execute trustee responsibility, ensuring alignment with fiduciary obligation and investor protection
- Oversee and ensure investment funds are operating in accordance with relevant rules and regulations as prescribed by the MPFA, SFC, HKMA Regulations and the constitutional documents of the funds
- Act independently as Trustee to review, monitor the reporting or report the incidents. breaches and non- compliance issue to regulator
- Ensure prompt and effective responses to inquiries from fund manager / operators / regulators, consulting internal stakeholders and risk stewards as appropriate
- Regular review and update internal regulatory mapping files, delegation documentation, and internal procedures to maintain robust governance frameworks
- Monitor the regulatory update and assessing their impact on trustee operations and implement necessary changes to ensure ongoing compliance
- Maintain stron service-level and relationship with clients
- Support RFPs, representing the trustee in RFP and DD meetings
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or above
- At least 3-8+ years work experience within Trustee or Funds operations/management; more experience will be considered for Associate Director level
- Strong awareness and knowledge of the Hong Kong fund regulatory environment and recent developments
- Strong technical knowledge to deal with legal, accounting and technical issues arising in relation to servicing of funds
- Proven ability to manage teams and oversee complex fund operations with a focus on fiduciary duty and propose solutions
- Strong command in English and Cantonese communication is a MUST
- First rate communication and presentational skills
- Excellent numeric and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience and confidence in dealing with clients at a senior level
- Strong team working ability and capable of encouraging ideas and input from team members.
- Clear understanding of importance of effective customer service internally and externally
- Ability to cultivate strategic client relationships and ensuring clients’ perspective is the driving force behind all value-added business activities.
