- Support the business line management in day-to-day operational and administrative management of the business
- Develop the implementation of Global Markets plans and priorities, to manage delivery of the agreed strategy in coordination with Functions
- Support the business line management in the adoption of Group’s and regulatory policies/guidelines, including design site specific procedure and internal control workflow, and in the adherence to conduct and control best practices
- Prepare product papers for new products, services or processes
- Support the business line management in the proposition and internal adoption of new business initiatives
- Analyse new regulatory requirements and their impact for each product class and liaise with all regulatory parties internal and external as required
- Lead initiatives enabling a higher control of the direct and indirect costs, as well as an improved FO to BO operations of the business
- Participate in system development workgroup, perform business impact analysis and monitor projects progress
- Support business continuity arrangements and provide production incident support
- Ensure that strong working relationships are developed and maintained with all other Business support and functional teams
Job Requirements
- University Degree in Business Administration or other relevant qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in banking or financial institutions , preferably with experience in product development, business planning/managment, and risk and control management
- Experience in Global Markets COO office, with knowledge in Rates & FX business is a plus
- Excellent in planning and managing projects
- Attentiveness to details and self motivated
- Good communication, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Highly adaptable to changes and challenges
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
